মাত্রা ও ব্যবহার বিধি : পূর্ণবয়স্ক : সাধারণভাবে ১ মি.গ্রা. করে দিনে ২ বার খাবারের সাথে খেতে হবে। বিশেষ ক্ষেত্রে এক সাথে ২ মি.গ্রা. দিনে ২ বার খাওয়া যাবে। ৩ বছরের অধিক বয়স্ক : ১ মি.গ্রা. করে দিনে ২ বার আহারের সাথে সেব্য। খুব বেশি ঘুম পেলে চিকিৎসা শুরুর প্রথম ক’দিন রাতের বেলা খাবারের সাথে ০.৫ থেকে ১ মি.গ্রা. এ্যালারিড অথবা চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী খেতে হবে। ৬ মাস-৩ বছরের শিশু : প্রতি কেজি ওজনের জন্য, ০.০৫ মি.গ্রা. (০.২৫ মি.গ্রা. সিরাপ) করে দিনে দুইবার (সকালে এবং বিকালে একবার) সেব্য। বার্ধক্য : পূর্ণবয়স্কদের অনুরূপ মাত্রা অথবা চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী।
সতর্কতা ও যেসব ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করা যাবে না : মুখে খাওয়ার এন্টিডায়াবেটিক এজেন্টের সাথে সেবনে রক্তে অনুচক্রিকার মাত্রা হ্রাস পেতে পারে। গর্ভাবস্থায় ও স্তন্যদানকালে গ্রহণ অনুমোদিত নয়।
পার্শ্ব প্রতিক্রিয়া : তন্দ্রাচ্ছন্নতা, মুখে শুষ্কতা এবং মৃদু মাথা ঝিম্ ঝিম্ ভাব দেখা দিতে পারে।
