সতর্কতা ও যেসব ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করা যাবে না : অতি সংবেদনশীলদের, পোরফাইরিয়া অথবা পারিবারিক পোরফাইরিয়ার ইতিহাস থাকলে ব্যবহার অনুচিত।

পার্শ্ব প্রতিক্রিয়া : খুব কম এবং মৃদু। সাধারণত ঘুম ঘুম ভাব, মাথা হালকা বোধ হওয়া, অ্যাটাক্সিয়া, মাথা ঘোরা, মুখে শুষ্কতা, অমনোযোগিতা, রক্তচাপ কমে যাওয়া, চোখ এবং পরিপাকতন্ত্রের অসুবিধা দেখা দিতে পারে। দীর্ঘদিন চিকিৎসায় যৌন ক্ষমতা কমে যেতে পারে।

গর্ভাবস্থা ও স্তন্যদানকালে ব্যবহার : গর্ভধারণের প্রথম তিন মাস এবং স্তন্যদানকারী মায়েদের ডায়াজিপাম এড়িয়ে চলা উচিত।

পার্শ্ব প্রতিক্রিয়া : সাধারণত পার্শ্ব প্রতিক্রিয়া যেমন- ঘুম ঘুম ভাব, নিদ্রা, ভারসাম্য লোপ এবং এটাক্সিয়া ইত্যাদি।

গর্ভাবস্থা ও স্তন্যদানকালে ব্যবহার : গর্ভাবস্থায় ব্যবহার করা যাবে না। মাতৃদুগ্ধদানকালে সম্ভব হলে ব্যবহার এড়িয়ে চলা উচিত।
