মাত্রা ও ব্যবহার বিধি : প্রতিদিন ২০০ মি.গ্রা. থেকে ৮০০ মি.গ্রা. ৫-১০ দিন। বাচ্চাদের জন্য ১৫ মি.গ্রা./কেজি/ দিন ২ বার সমবিভক্ত মাত্রায় ৩ দিন।
সতর্কতা ও যেসব ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করা যাবে না : অতিসংবেদনশীল, মৃগী রোগ আছে বা অল্পতেই খিঁচুনি হয়, তাদের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করা যাবে না। সাধারণত শিশু, বর্ধিষ্ণু বাচ্চা, গর্ভবতী বা স্তন্যদানকারী মায়েদের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার্য নয়।
পার্শ্ব প্রতিক্রিয়া : বমি বমি ভাব, পেটে ব্যথা, ডায়রিয়া, অনিদ্রা ও ঝিঁমুনীভাব।
অন্য ওষুধের সাথে প্রতিক্রিয়া : এন্টাসিড, সুক্রালফেট, জিংক এবং আয়রণ সল্ট।
